SDÜ Nutrition and Dietetics Department Begins Accepting Students
The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics of Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Health Sciences is accepting students for the first time in the 2024-2025 Academic Year.
The education and training program offered in the department, which was opened to provide pioneering education in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics, covers practical applications as well as theoretical knowledge. Students will apply the theoretical knowledge they acquire through laboratory studies and course applications in their professional lives. The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics consists of four main branches: Nutrition Sciences, Dietetics, Mass Nutrition Systems and Community Nutrition.
The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, which aims to train dietitians equipped with knowledge and skills to protect and develop public health and who have scientific thinking, will carry out its education and training activities with 30 students. Our department, which aims to train dietitians equipped with knowledge and skills to protect and develop public health and who have scientific thinking, includes Prof. Dr. Nurgül Şenol, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aliye Kuyumcu, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülçin Şatır, Asst. Prof. Hatice BAYGUT, Res. Asst. PhD. Müberra Yıldız, Res. Asst. PhD. Hatice Bölükbaşı, Res. Asst. PhD. Elif Çelik and faculty members from other related departments will be present.
Graduates of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics will have the opportunity to work in hospitals, health centers, sports clubs, food industry, public institutions and private consulting centers, as well as progress towards an academic career.
