3rd International/6th National Health Services Congress (INHSC2024) “Flavor and Balance: Good Life Meeting with Happiness Workshop” Session was held

The 3rd International/6th National Health Services Congress (INHSC2024) organized by Süleyman Demirel University (SDU) Faculty of Medicine was held on 19-21 December 2024 at SDU Research and Application Hospital and Faculty Classrooms. The chairmanship of the congress was assumed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehtap Savran and Asst. Prof. Fuat İnce. 

One of the most remarkable parts of the congress was the workshop organized by SDU Department of Nutrition and Dietetics. “Flavor and Balance: Good Life Meeting with Happiness Workshop” was held under the moderation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aliye Kuyumcu. The workshop started with the presentations of research assistants PhD Müberra Yıldız, PhD Hatice Bölükbaşı and PhD Elif Çelik. “Popular Diets: Trends, Benefits and Facts” and ”Diet and Snacking: The Power of Healthy Choices”, the session continued with a practical session called ‘Refined Sugar-Free Happiness Workshop’. In addition, the faculty members of the department prepared poster presentations together with the students and supported students to participate in scientific activities.

This event raised awareness on healthy living and nutrition and added significant value to the congress. The innovative approaches and applications presented in the workshop were appreciated by the participants. Hosted by SDU, INHSC 2024 made significant contributions to the health sector by increasing knowledge sharing and cooperation between the congress, academics, health professionals and students.
