Technical Visit to YETEM by Students from the SDU Department of Nutrition and Dietetics

Students from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Süleyman Demirel University took a technical field trip to the Center for Applied Research and Innovative Technologies (YETEM) as part of their Food Chemistry and Analysis course. During the visit, the students had the opportunity to examine firsthand the state-of-the-art equipment used in food analysis and learn about laboratory practices.

During the visit, participants were introduced to a wide range of modern analytical methods, including HPLC, GC-MS, Raman spectroscopy, protein analysis systems, and genetic analysis instruments. Detailed information was shared about the applications of these systems in food safety, quality control, the determination of nutritional components, and scientific research.
