Science Café Gathering in Collaboration with the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Office of Science Communication

The Science Café event titled “Productive Hands, Healthy Bodies: The Power of Balanced Nutrition” was held on December 31, 2025, with the aim of presenting scientific knowledge to all segments of society in a clear, accessible, and everyday-life–oriented format.

Organized as the final Science Café meeting of the year, the event addressed the scientific foundations of balanced nutrition with the participation of Dr. Müberra Yıldız from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics. During the event, the effects of healthy eating on individual health, sustainable dietary habits, and the importance of nutrition for a productive life were shared with participants through examples from daily life.

The event was carried out under the coordination of the Süleyman Demirel University Office of Science Communication, creating an interactive environment through participants’ questions and contributions. Bringing scientific knowledge directly to the public, the event served as a meaningful finale to the year’s activities focused on science, production, and social contribution.
