Cafeteria Staff Received Training on Mass Catering During Disasters
As part of the in-service training program organized annually by Süleyman Demirel University within the scope of its Integrated Quality Management System training activities, a training session titled “Mass Catering Services in Disaster Situations and the Role of Kitchen Staff” was held for the staff of the Cafeteria Services Department.

During the training session led by Dr. Hatice Baygut, Assistant Professor in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at the Faculty of Health Sciences, information was provided on the planning of mass feeding services during disasters, the procurement of safe food, hygiene and sanitation practices, and the duties and responsibilities of kitchen staff.

It was emphasized that, in the field of education, it is of great importance for kitchen staff to act quickly, in a planned and coordinated manner during disasters and emergencies in order to ensure the sustainability of mass food service operations.
