Seminar on “Men’s Health from an Osteopathic Perspective” Held

The seminar titled “Men’s Health from an Osteopathic Perspective,” organized by the SDÜ Men’s Health and Life Student Community operating within the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Faculty of Health Sciences at Süleyman Demirel University, was held on 18 November 2025 at 11:00.

During the event, Assist. Prof. – Osteopath Mücahit Öztop provided a detailed discussion on evaluating men’s health through an osteopathic lens. The presentation comprehensively covered the core principles of osteopathic medicine, holistic health approaches through the musculoskeletal system, the relationship between somatic dysfunctions and common male health issues, and examples of osteopathic techniques used in clinical practice.

The seminar was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Duray. Students actively contributed to the session with their questions, particularly regarding the integration of osteopathic assessment into physiotherapy practice.
