"Life with Rhythm" Project Enhances the Quality of Life for Hemodialysis Patients

The community outreach project titled "Strategies to Enhance Physical and Mental Health During Hemodialysis: Life with Rhythm," conducted by Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Health Sciences, is improving the quality of life for hemodialysis patients. Led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sıddıka Ersoy from the Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing, and coordinated by the University’s Community Engagement and Stakeholder Coordination Office, the project aims to enhance symptom management, improve treatment adherence, and elevate patients’ overall quality of life.

The project incorporates game-based, art therapy, exercise, and music-based interventions to support the physical and mental well-being of hemodialysis patients. Prof. Dr. Ferdi Başkurt and Res. Asst. Mert Usta from the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation are contributing to the initiative.
