THE FACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCES HELD AN INFORMATION MEETING FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS ON TÜBİTAK-2209 UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT PROJECTS

The Faculty of Health Sciences at Süleyman Demirel University held an important event to increase undergraduate student participation in scientific projects. As part of the Project Experience Sharing Meetings-V, organized under the leadership of our faculty's R&D Committee, the TÜBİTAK-2209 Undergraduate Student Projects Information Meeting was held at AMPHI III on October 21, 2025, designed to guide undergraduate students in the research and project preparation processes.
In her opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gülçin Şatır stated, "You are the ones who will lead the scientists of the future. TÜBİTAK projects offer a unique opportunity to gain undergraduate research experience and develop your skills," emphasizing the importance of student participation in projects. During the event, detailed information was shared about innovations related to the 2025 call for projects and the TÜBİTAK-2209 program. Topics such as how to apply for projects, budgeting processes, and success criteria were explained.

Following this, our Faculty's TÜBİTAK-2209 Project Managers, who received support in 2024, shared their experiences in project preparation and execution.

Continuing such events is crucial for increasing the scientific productivity of our undergraduate students in the health sciences and supporting young minds.
